What's New at Buck Bald Brewing?

Buck Bald Brewing is proud to announce another Gold Medal win for TNR Hefeweizen!

Our TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Hefeweizen earned Gold in the German Wheat Beer category at the 2026 Best of Craft Beer Awards in Bend, Oregon.

This year’s competition featured 270 breweries, 1,498 entries, and 51 categories, making this award an exciting honor for our brewery and our team.

The recognition comes directly on the heels of an incredible weekend at the Carolinas Championship of Beer, where Buck Bald Brewing brought home 7 medals, including 5 gold.

We are grateful for the support of our community and proud to keep sharing award-winning craft beer with you. Stop by Buck Bald Brewing and raise a glass with us to celebrate!

Buck Bald Brewing had a huge showing at the Carolinas Championship of Beer, bringing home 7 medals!

Our team earned 5 Gold Medals for:
Kosmic Kitty
Funka-Super-Delic
Shesquatch
Party on the Patio
Dark at the Moon

We also brought home a Silver Medal for Buck’s Frosty Balls and a Bronze Medal for Beer Break.

We’re incredibly proud of our brewing team and grateful for the continued support from our community. It’s an honor to see so many of our beers recognized on this stage.

Friday, April 3 – Clay and Lily will be at the Thirsty Turtle for the kickoff of this year’s Turtle Races.
Saturday, April 11 – Patrick and Lily are headed to the Hickory Hops Festival in Hickory, NC.
Saturday, April 18 – Patrick and Clay will be at the SGI Brewfest on St. George Island.
Saturday, May 2 – We’re gearing up for Murphy Springfest!
