When our beer hero, Buck, came into town one Saturday to pick up a few essentials, there was quite a buzz in Blairsville, GA. It seems a five-year-old boy named Bobby was missing! He had gone out to play in the morning. When his mom called for him a few minutes later, he was nowhere to be found.
Nearly every person in town was out searching for Bobby, but so far, no luck. Having been a five-year-old boy once himself, Buck decided he was the best man for the task of finding our wayward little guy. He got back into his trusty pick up and headed for his old favorite fishing hole, which wasn't far from Bobby’s home. The way Buck saw it, where else would a young boy be on a beautiful spring day, but at the closest fishing hole. Buck would pick up his essentials after he tracked Bobby down.
A few minutes later, he was at the river. There was a quiet little pool next to it that had been Buck's favorite place as a boy. Sure enough, our missing boy was on his stomach by the pool, watching a school of fish, lazily swimming around under the surface. Bobby was so enthralled that he had forgotten about lunch and didn't even think how worried his mom would be. Buck approached and told Bobby he would bring him home. Hand in hand, they walked through the woods to the boy's house. His mom was overjoyed, to say the least! “Buck”, she said, “you’re our hero. When no one else could find Bobby, you took it upon yourself to track him down.”
So what did our newly crowned hero do? He went into town to pick up his essentials and a tasty growler of Got a Hankerin’ ESB. Then he headed back to his favorite fishing hole to relax and drink a pint or two.
